Our Capacity Development/Building service focuses on bridging existing skill gaps in critical areas by providing targeted training and development activities. We collaborate closely with communitiesof practice, such as SomNOG, to facilitate and organize annual workshops and capacity-building initiatives. These events are meticulously designed to address specific needs within the academic
community, promoting a hands-on learning approach that is directly applicable to real-world challenges.

Each year, our capacity-building efforts impact over 400 participants, equipping them with advanced skills and knowledge that significantly enhance their professional and academic pursuits.Through these initiatives, SomaliREN is not only investing in individual career growth but also contributing to the broader goal of advancing Somalia’s educational infrastructure and research
