Somali Public Agenda Joins the Somali Research and Education Network (SomaliREN)
We are pleased to announce that Somali Public Agenda, a distinguished policy and administration research organization headquartered in Mogadishu, has formally joined SomaliREN as our 29th member institution. Somali Public Agenda’s commitment to improving public administration and service delivery through rigorous, evidence-based research aligns seamlessly with SomaliREN’s vision of creating a developed and prosperous society enabled by globally-connected, high-quality education and research institutions.
Before receiving full membership status, Somali Public Agenda’s application underwent a comprehensive review process conducted by the SomaliREN secretariat. Upon meeting all required criteria, their membership was subsequently approved by the Board of Directors during the Annual Meeting in Nairobi on February 13, 2024.
Today, Somali Public Agenda received its membership certificate, marking the official start of its partnership with SomaliREN. As a member institution, SPA will benefit from SomaliREN’s robust digital infrastructure and collaborative opportunities, while also contributing valuable insights and expertise to enrich our collective efforts.
We are pleased to welcome Somali Public Agenda as a new member of SomaliREN. We look forward to their valuable contributions to our shared mission of improving education, advancing research initiatives, aggregating demand, and empowering Somalia’s research and education community.
